Sunday was rough, I must say.
Evans’ Rag
Vol 1 Issue 32
I was rushing things a tad last week when I announced the novel, Kill Devil Come the Storm was going to print. Since then, I heard from my editor, and it’s probably still a few months further out. However, please don’t give up hope.
Oh, forsooth and for shame! How could you let that happen?
The usual way: failing the course on time management.
To get over my disappointment, I worked on a book cover for some short stories I hope to publish. Photoshopped the hell out of that picture! I done got a novella! Now if I could finish the last short story in the bunch…
The missing short story is a good one if very sad (he says over-confidently). I still need to ‘stick the landing’ as the children practicing flips are taught.
Which opinion might very well change once I send the story to an editor. Brutally honest creatures, editors, especially when they’re right. I don’t want to know what torture lies ahead once I get her comments back on Kill Devil Come the Storm.
Cheers!
