You probably wouldn’t want a daughter like Rachel Cusk—unless you are as saintly as Mother Teresa and even then you might need a lawyer, or a publicist skilled in rehabing parental reputations. Cusk spills the beans on her parents in The Paris Review. Then turns a not-so-kind spotlight on herself. You might call her an equal opportunity malinger.
