My first job after grad school was in the Miami firm of Ferendino, Grafton, Spillis and Candela. That vaguely looking keyboard to my left was a parallel bar, one of many instruments for drafting back in the day.

Robert Catasus resurrected this gem from his enormous photography collection You can find his more recent photos on Facebook. He said in a recent email the last of the firms’ four founders, Hilario Candela, had passed on.
