The day the blog was written was spent indoors due to a continuous downpour, so the blog wanders. There’s a theme if you hunt for it, something to do with our ongoing futility at taming our world. We’re doing a good job of overpopulating it, then working back to figure ways avoiding the consequences. Because, see, it’s not our fault. At least that’s what the Boomers have been arguing.
The post on the Book Café on Medium was written last month, too late to be included, so it’s in this one. Where Shall Wisdom Be Found? was a book by Harold Bloom that I read a while ago and it’s stayed with me. The Medium piece is a bit of personal history and book review. I figure by the time this website gets closed down, I’ll have enough to tape an entire life story together.
