July it is, and it’s coming in a roar–of humidity, heat and thunderstorms.

In keeping with the season, a piece on Medium I’ve been banging away on for a few weeks regarding our canine companion, and another that just recently was pulled together.

Out of the blue, Larry Golfer, Lake Barcroft’s resident professional photographer sent shots which he graciously let me use. He says they were shot while kayaking.

I have no idea how one can kayak and shoot close ups with a steady hand. My own fear would be donating the camera to the lake in a roll-over.
